William Yang attracted international acclaim when he became a laureate at the 2025 International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. He also captured the gold medal at the 2025 National Chopin Piano Competition in Miami, Florida. Since then, he has made impressive debuts at the Seoul Arts Centre, Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, and the Osaka Symphony Hall. As a concerto soloist, he has appeared with the Warsaw Philharmonic, Minnesota Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, among many others.

Yang is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, and was a Kovner Fellow at the Julliard School of Music.
