CHOPIN MARATHON 2025

In order to celebrate the birthday of Chopin on March 1st, The Vancouver Chopin Society is once again hosting our annual Chopin Marathon, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Vancouver, Tom Lee Music and Richmond Music School.

The Chopin Marathon provides an invaluable opportunity for your students to perform a work by Chopin, one of the most beloved composers for the piano, in front of an audience. For music lovers, or lovers of the music of Chopin, the Chopin Marathon will be a wonderful opportunity for you to enjoy performances of his works by some of our community’s young musicians.

For participating in the Chopin Marathon:

1. Every performer will receive a Certificate of Appreciation from The Vancouver Chopin Society and a souvenir from Poland’s Chopin Institute.
2. Every performer will receive two complimentary tickets for one of our upcoming concerts in 2025.
3. Every performer will automatically become a member of the VCS Youth Club. Members of the VCS Youth Club receive priority access to upcoming master classes/workshops sessions with top international Chopin scholars.
4. Teachers who register their student(s) in the Chopin Marathon will receive a recognition certificate from The Vancouver Chopin Society.
